A beautiful Romano-British Penannular Brooch, 1st or 2nd Century AD.
The Penannular Brooch was the only style to last from the late Iron Age, throughout the Roman era and into the time of the Viking invasions of Britain – a period of over a thousand years. This stunning example was discovered in the 1990's in Suffolk, UK.
