Timeless are very pleased to offer a chunky polished Stone Age Axehead dating from the Neolithic period, between 6000 and 8000 years ago.
Of European origin, the axe was knapped in flint. Once the desired shape was obtained, the axe was polished, probably by rubbing on a large, flat stone, to produce a beautifully smooth and sharp cutting edge.
Around 8.5cm in length
