Timeless Galleries are delighted to offer a lovely example of a Roman Stylus.
Cast in bronze between the 1st and 3rd Centuries A.D., the stylus is around 14cm long and entirely intact -it even retains the original discoid eraser at one end (used to flatten out the clay tablets that the Romans used as 'notepads').
An amazing historical artefact - Roman styli rarely come to market, and this piece (one of a group of three) would make a fascinating and unique gift for the history lover.
Now available in the Timeless Galleries.
Acquired by Timeless on the UK Antiquities Market, 2019, previously forming part of a private collection formed between 1990 - 2000.
