This enigmatic Roman Bronze Knife dates from the 1st - 3rd century A.D.
The knife is almost certainly a domestic utensil and displays a twisted shaft and short, triangular blade. The end of the shaft is flattened and may once have been inserted into a wooden handle.
Mounted on a plinth of oak - now available in the Timeless Galleries.
