Timeless Galleries are pleased to offer a beautiful 1st - 2nd century A.D. Roman Fibula Brooch.

Cast in tinned bronze almost two thousand years ago - this lovely little brooch is of a Bow and Fantail type and displays a lovely swirled decoration to the fan (the flared leg). The Romans used fibula brooches as clothing fasteners (fibula means clasp), and are much prized by collectors and history enthusiasts.

From the world-renowned and historically significant 'Chris Rudd' collection (originally part of the 'fabulous fibulas' gallery) - now available at Timeless Galleries.
