A perfectly preserved Roman Ceramic Oil Lamp dating from the 1st - 3rd century A.D., now available in the Timeless Galleries.

The lamp displays a broad, circular body with a plain banded discus, a flared smoke-stained nozzle and ring-and-dot decoration with a band of square pellets.

A beautiful remnant of ancient Rome, mounted on a handmade oak plinth, it's one of the nicest Roman ceramic oil lamps to have passed through our hands.

The lamp is c. 9cm in length. Printed documentation is included.
