Here's a lovely little thing.
Dating from the Late Bronze Age (between 3500 - 2800 years ago), this tiny bronze bracelet, at only 4.5cm diameter, probably belonged to a child.
However, the punch-mark detail to the round-sectioned band and the beautifully decorated flared terminals suggest that, if it was a child's, it was a child belonging to a wealthy family.
Further to this, the patination displays a deep bronze colour (rather than the usual Verdigris green) and is a pleasure to behold.
Wearable if you have small hands! But please be careful if attempting to wear this ancient artefact.
