Sickle-Bladed Flint Knife

A fabulous and extremely rare Curved Flint Knife from the British Mesolithic period, knapped in a dark patinated flint over 10,000 years ago.

The edge to this knife is still extremely sharp, and one can almost imagine it cutting through animal hide, or slicing meat to cook on the campfires in the ancient forests of Britain.

The knife is around 12.5cm along its length, and could be yours to own today!

Provenance

Acquired by Timeless on the UK Antiquities market, 2018. Originally part of a private collection formed in the 1980s.

Enjoy your knife, Sue!
